NURSERY
The development of the five senses plays an important role in early childhood learning. We have a variety of teaching aids for different purposes, let children improve their cognitive development and hand-eye coordination by matching their colors, shapes, sizes and materials. Through classroom activities and games, children learn to communicate and get along with classmates and develop their fine motor skills. We create a stimulating learning environment that facilitates children’s development of multiple intelligences. Special emphasis should be placed in developing children's basic skills, building up basic concepts and cultivating in them positive values and attitudes.
KINDERGARTEN
Our curriculum is happy-learning oriented, applying theme-based approach and project-based approach in teaching which centered on the child’s needs, interests and abilities. We believe all learning areas are inter-dependent and we strive to provide optimal development conditions for all by creating an ideal setting for learning English and Chinese. We integrate listening, speaking, reading and writing into all learning activities.
We utilize an inspiring interactive teaching approach in order to provide an opportunity for children to learn through games. We stimulate children to learn more about their surroundings through exploration. Our Interactive teaching approach not only increases children’s interest in their surrounding world, but also effectively enhances their independent thinking and analyzing abilities. Thus, children are able to learn to study with independence and a positive attitude.
ELEMENTARY
Our school curriculum adopted the spiral progression approach to ensure mastery of knowledge and skills through interactive games, story-telling and outdoor visits. To ensure a smooth transition to primary schools, we also instill classroom exercises such as data collection record books and memory games to enrich their vocabulary and creative writing skills. To further quantitatively and qualitatively assess the school children, the establishment of child development portfolios could help to monitor their development and learning progress throughout the process of observation, record-keeping and analysis.
