Our aim is to provide a place with a multi-cultural environment for children to enjoy a holistic education. Each of our schools is subdivided into kindergarten and nursery sections. We offer morning, afternoon and full day sessions for children ages 2 to 6. With our diversified curriculums, children will be able to acquire a firm foundation that will propel them through all their future academic education.
International Bilingual Curriculum
We have integrated English and Chinese teaching, into a whole bilingual language teaching environment. We adopt a western teaching approach and use original teaching aids and materials from the UK, US and Canada. As to update and continually improve the teaching abilities of our staff, we send some of our teachers and administration staff to visit early childhood institutions around the US and Canada on a regular basis. There they learn innovative methods, receive the latest advanced training and are able to gather in Zenith information and innovative academic ideas, further strengthening our curriculum to give our students a greater ability to succeed. Our panels of experts have designed our curriculums using integration of the western approach thus providing a unique learning experience. Moreover, all teachers teaching this curriculum are native English and Beijing Putonghua speakers with the best qualifications enabling our students to have the best language skills.
As to broaden children’s international vision we do not only focus on local culture but also provide our students with a multi-cultural learning environment. We frequently organize topic core teaching themes and celebrations, with international cultural characteristics. Those activities include international culture week, western and Chinese festival celebrations as well as having an international carnival. Focusing on these themes we are teaching children to have a diverse and positive attitude thereby enabling them to respect and accept different cultures.
Our community is developing and evolving at a very fast pace, therefore knowledge about information technology has become extremely important. In view of this, we have included information technology in both teaching and learning. Multi-purpose computer rooms have been built in all Zenith campuses. We also employ professional computer teachers to teach our specially designed computer curriculum. In such a way, children are able to enjoy well rounded computer learning.
Interactive Teaching Approach
We utilize an inspiring interactive teaching approach in order to provide an opportunity for children to learn through games. We stimulate children to learn more about their surroundings through exploring. Interactive teaching approach not only increases children’s interest in their surrounding world, but also effectively enhances their independent thinking and analysis abilities. Thus, children become able to learn to study with independence and a positive attitude. Group learning plays a significant role in an interactive teaching approach. Children can enjoy the fun of learning with classmates and their problem solving ability can also be improved.
